Sustainable Farming Practices

In order to promote a healthy environment and the freshest products possible, Dries Orchard dramatically limits its use of pesticides.

The lifecycle of the orchard's insects and pests are constantly monitored in order to ensure pesticide is not over-used. This protects the quality of the fruit and minimizes the orchard's ecological footprint. Dries Orchards is working towards USDA Organic farming practices in the near future. With your help, we can reach this goal and provide local, organically grown products.

All locations offer a trade back program where customers can return the crates and boxes from their previous visit, and receive a credit towards their next purchase. This expands the lifetime of resources, limiting the waste that is buried in landfills and depleting our earth.

In order to make the most of the fruits grown at Dries Orchard, rotten produce is traded with local farms to be used as fertilizer and food for livestock and cattle. Every aspect of our products is put to use in an effort to be  mindful of the impact we have on our environment.
